Buttons Challenge

Hug!

I marbled cotton strips and  pieced them as the background.  Also marbled paper, and cut it into the center heart. Cork hands, lace, 

 For the Project quilting 16.6 , Button challenge sewed the buttons as text.

A quilt I made several years ago about this fun, festival. My fondest childhood memories included tossing dry, colorful powders and squirting vivid liquid colors with squirt guns at others!
