The Wonder Of Eyes Textile Exhibition and Art Exchange
These quilts were part of The Wonder Of Eyes Textile Exhibition and Art Exchange in Australia at the Australasian Quilt Convention in 2021.
Visual Information By Charlotte Scott is the quilt I got in exchange for my Apple Of My Eye.
Charlotte, from New Zealand, has an abundance of beautiful french knots and exquisite hand embroidery.
The photo does not capture the wonderful details. I am so lucky to have received it!
Brenda Gael Smith, the curator of the exhibition actually spun a wheel for the fun exchange in a zoom meeting.

It was also a fundraiser for the Fred Hollows Foundation so that sight may be restored on others.

Sunbonnet Sue 's Surreal Time
To cope with the pandemic, she waters her fat quarters to grow them into a fabric stash and imagines she can make it work...just like Project Runway! She also declares the corona virus is out by banishing it to a memory jar.
Materials: beads, buttons, cotton, net, trims
Techniques: Block designed in computer software. Stencil and ink, die cuts,
print on fabric, yo yo, machine and hand applique
This is a block for the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild
Can't wait to see the new quilt which will be assembled soon!
