metal embossing stencil in ATCs
I used a heat tool to burn out the figure from the metal embossing stencil for cardmaking.
The top right had 2 layers of nylon. The bottom left had one layer of purple net. The bottom right had two layers of net.
Gathered some pink net for her tutu.
I will trade these Artist trading cards this month with an online group.
Can't wait to see what I get back.

Dragonfly with a heat tool
I tried cutting around a dragonfly decoration for the garden with the heat tool.. one and two layers of net. Will use something else for the body..the outline will be a guide for placement.
Metal leaf and sheers
Another metal leaf, layers of organza and the heat tool. I learnt if I had cut it in the center, I could have had 2 for 1...the positive and neagative leaf ..I could have layered the negative leaf with netting and/or another sheer.

Day 1 Creating for SAQA _Stellar 70 day challenge
Working with synthetics and a heat tool. Used 2 layers of net and heat tool to cut around a glass fish on a larger piece of glass..quick and easy!
Sewing Machine centerpiece
Made the Fabric Fondlers Anonymous centerpiece for the NTGM luncheon. I decorated a stained glass Sunbonnet Sue I had previously made as a nightlight and added dangling paper hearts to my cup of tea. Check out the other wonderful centerpieces...The surface design group birds had personalities of their own as did the sculptures that were made from pantyhose, wire hangers and were artfully painted to finish! Thanks to so many members who contributed to making our luncheon a very memorable one!

Stained glass flower
My latest stained glass project from yesterday's workshop. It began in a Succulents class...mine transformed into a 3D glass flower by my color choices
