Sewing machine donation feedback

I donated my Kenmore a few months ago to a charity called Peace, Love&and Planet, http://www.peaceloveandplanet.org/
Just got this letter with pictures of my machine to help orphan children in Peru learn lifelong skills.
The wonderful gloves were made in the village near Cusco were sent as thanks.
While I have donated machines before to other charities, this is the first time I got feedback complete with many pictures. How wonderful that my trusted machine that I sewed with everyday for making quilts now has a great new worthy home and purpose!

Charity Sewing Event at the Library

Several members of the American Sewing Guild helped teach how to make pillowcases at the Plymouth Library . They are for children undergoing cancer treatment at U-M Mott Children's hospital in Ann Arbor.
It was open to all as a hands on event and we had 15 signed up and more on the waiting list.
Our new sewists really enjoyed learning a new skill and it was such a worthwhile cause..to put smiles on young cancer patients to benefit ConKerr Cancer.
