Folded Book Wedding Theme
The Plymouth Library had a wonderful Papercrafting workshop and one of things we learnt is how to make a folded book. They generously provided books, papers and embellishments for us to use. I added some of my own and also used my daughter's wedding photos to highlight the book. The last photo is the front of the book. I also cut birds like folded paperdolls and are on top of the pages above the photos. Lesley suggested I punch holes in the side of the book and tie it with ribbons to stand up the folded pages . I love how it turned out!

Op Art x Five
A combined challenge for the Fast Friday Group to use Line and Color and the Creative Seasons Group to use Five.
I found an intriguing picture on pinterest which led to this project of op art in the style of Bridget Riley.

I drew around my hand, added curved lines and text to describe me in my hand portrait. I wanted to use a red and yellow fabric to show my hot flashes.
I drew it out several times with a permanent marker. Then, I printed out my drawing on Extravaganza and layered it on top. Turns out the sheer printed fabric had a blue tint because the red fabric underneath appears purple!
