Persistence!

Some days there won't be a song in your heart. Sing anyway.

Based on Emory Austin’s quote, this quilt has beads, charms, zipper, washers and net. The quilt  was designed in Make the Cut Software.

It is included in the Lesley Riley’s book, Quotes Illustrated

My quilt at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum

I am excited that my quilt, Drowning in Debt will be exhibited at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum July 31- October 27 2012 as part of the Politics as Usual exhibit. It was made for the Fast Friday Fabric Challenge, Under the Sea.

The quilt was made for an online challenge for the theme, “Under the Sea”. My quilt represents our tough economic times. Some people have underwater mortgages and are deep in debt. Our country is spending money well beyond what we take in. The government is printing money at an incredible rate and the future is worrisome and uncertain.
The quilt was designed in Make the Cut software and cut with an electronic cutter.
