Internet Tag swap

We are swapping tags in my internet postcard group. My tag is from Michigan, The Great Lakes State. We often point to the back of our hand to point to locations in Michigan.
This was designed in Make the Cut software, printed on fabric, colored with inks and pens, appliqued and stitched.

These are some I got back in the swap... from Florida ,California, and New Zealand..just beautiful!

Quilt in the swap postcard

This is for the annual Liberate Your Art  postcard swap. We send five copies of our artwork on 4x6 postcards and will get back 6 postcards of other artist's work. I shared postcards of my quilt, Savor Every Second, Value Every Day! There are 86,400 seconds in every day..Make Each One Count!
The center circle began as white fabric. I painted dots to fill in the numbers in green first and then the yellows, oranges and reds.Added the time and text and hen free motion quilted it.

I gelli printed the envelope to the hostess with gear/time stencils. It was such fun and had quick instant results.Cannot wait to see what I get back.

If you would like to check out all the wonderful art being swapped and also see the decorated artistic envelopes, check out  Kat's blog:
