Water


Layered sheet protector pages and sheers and burned with a heat tool to create holes and distortions. Then added fabric underneath for a challenge to simulate water.

Fractured waterlily, group quilt

We started with this picture:


The framed waterlily is my completed quilt
Here is a detail of my quilt:

I added Anglina and sheer fabrics to the waterlily. I created the leaves with felt and organza that were heated with the heat gun to create texture and holes. They were then needlefelted together . I then added machine embroidery and free motion quilted the quilt.

The right side of the quilt is Lynn's art work and the bottom center of the quilt is Christine's art work.
