Collaborative Book

We each decided our theme and size of art and made book pages for each other. I picked Positive Vibes as my theme and chose a 4x6 size so I could also incorporate some of my postcard and ATC swaps in my project. Created a book with watercolor papers, paint, and many embellishments. When I receive my Cnandian partner's page, I will add it and finish the book. I love how its turning out!

Grief Postcard

The challenge was to use team colors. Living in Michigan, maize and blue, Go Blue came to mind immediately. In grief, the color blue has a whole different meaning for me now. The blue tragedy mask is for the loss of my best friend of 45 years. The yellow comedy mask is for his fantastic sense of humor that I miss the most and the wonderful, happy memories of our short time together.

Life's Challenges and Inspirations, Quilt

Life's Challenges and Inspirations is just one of 350-400 quilts that will be exhibited by the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild Quilt Show July 30 & 31. It was a group challenge with fabrics and general instructions every month. I also challenged myself to also use many fabric postcards I have made and swapped over the last year. Every quilt in the Creative Seasons special exhibit looks so different!
