Valentines

Sending my love fabric postcards

Experimented with Foil on double sided adhesive heart shapes. When I finger pressed on foil, I had lots of holes. I got better results on second try using an old credit card for a more even pressure on foil. The foiled hearts were easy to sew through but seem fragile.

Labels Fabric Postcard swap

When my postcard group suggested labels as theme, I saved banana labels and washed tips of yogurt containers. Punched circles from them and formed the letters O to spell food. All very easy to sew through.  Also used a foam knife and fork to form part of the letter D on a cupcake fabric background.

Sue from CA sent me her tea labels PC!
Doni from Oregon sent the humorous label PC below!

Senior Bus trip to the DIA

Many paper crafters went on a free Senior Bus trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts from the Plymouth Library. There was an art project and a docent tour with wonderful cookies, too!
Cannot wait till the grand kids are old enough to participate in the DIA projects and activities.
